Biaks have large heads with long snouts, long, sharply pointed tails, attain a larger size than mainland animals, and are stout and robust animals. The main color is a light green, often with patches of yellow present. Most Biaks have yellow face markings. Biaks are also the largest of the Chondro family.

This beautiful chondro-rich region rests at the foot of the Cyclops Mountains on the northern coast of New Guinea. The Jaya's can exhibit both ontogenic colorations of yellow or red and these burgundy beauties exemplify this perfectly. Manokwari (CB) $ 550ca SOLD
Manokwaris become light green adults highlighted with beautiful blue dorsal markings. Yellow clusters of speckles on adults are also not uncommon. Babies can be both red and yellow and like Sorongs, Manokwaris are extremely gentle. If you want a beautiful chondro that you can feel confident handling, the Manokwari is your choice then.
